Assistant Zoning Inspector Needed

The Woodville Township Trustees are currently accepting resumes for an Assistant Zoning Inspector for the Township. This position will assist the current Zoning Inspector and could be a lead into the primary zoning inspector’s position in the near future. The Zoning Inspector enforces the Woodville Township Zoning Resolution, issues zoning permits, maintains permanent zoning records, conducts property inspections as needed, and issues notices of zoning violations. Education and experience in design, construction, and inspection of structures and the administration of associated zoning codes and standards would be beneficial. The Zoning Inspector takes direction from the Woodville Township Trustees, Zoning Commission, and Board of Zoning Appeals in the administration of zoning in Woodville Township. Public Hearing - Zoning Change Proposal - Hunter Haar - 4685 US 20, Woodville Township

The Woodville Township Zoning Commission held a public hearing  February 11 to discuss an application for a zoning change from agriculture to general commercial on a five (5) acre parcel located at 4685 US 20, Woodville Township,  Parcel # 28-01-00-0015-01 owned by Hunter Haar.

According to the Woodville Township Zoning Resolution, the Woodville Township Trustees will hold a second public hearing on this application on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodville Township Fire Station, 321East Main Street, Woodville, Ohio.

Persons who desire to state objection or support for this proposed change are encouraged to appear in person or by attorney at this meeting. Correspondence may be mailed to Woodville Township, P.O. Box 121, Woodville, Ohio 43469.
